Baden Hill Common

Baden Hill Common is approximately 1.25 hectares of woodland, scrub and grassland situated to the northeast of Tytherington.  Despite its location the common has a close association with Itchington.  After Willoughby de Brook sold off the Manor of Tytherington in 1728, a Parilamentary Commission was convened to determine the boundary between Itchington and Tytherington.  The common was awarded to Itchington, along with land at Tower Hill and Cutts Gate, because the balance of manorial waste was relatively small in Itchington.
